Forearm Fracture

Forearm is made up of two bones radius and ulna that lie between the wrist and the elbow. Fracture of any of these bones is termed as forearm fracture that mainly occurs in children while playing.

Characteristics of Forearm Fracture

Cause: Fall on an outstretched arm OR fall directly on the forearm OR direct blow to the forearm.

Symptoms: Severe pain, tenderness and swelling on the injury site, inability to rotate or turn the forearm, deformity of the elbow along with numbness of forearm and hand.
