Ganglion cysts are common, non-cancerous and harmless mass or lump in the hand that may be filled with fluid. They can quickly appear, disappear, and change size.

Visible lump that does not cause any symptoms if it is not putting any pressure on the adjoining nerves. It can cause pain, tingling, and muscle weakness if cyst puts pressure on nerves.
